The Joumana Haddad Freedoms Center (JHFC) is a Lebanese youth-centered, secular and independent human rights organisation (Reg. number 4181/2019, ministry of interior and municipalities) that looks to organise youth to advance the principles of citizenship, parity, tolerance and social justice in Lebanon. JHFC is a national, societal, intellectual and innovative laboratory intended to promote and preserve human rights and freedoms, uphold their standards, elaborate their functions, and expand their space in a Lebanese democracy.

Around the clock, the center works to tackle the infrastructure behind Lebanon’s corruption and layers of injustice and discrimination. Through power groups, we work to protect and promote freedoms and uphold international human rights standards. We also invest in expanding the space for dialogue in the Lebanese public and private life.

مركز جمانة حداد للحريات منظمة علمانية مستقلّة أُنشِت حديثاً بهدف توعية الشباب اللبناني وتثقيفه وتعبئته، من أجل النهوض بالقيم المُشرقة المتمثّلة بالمواطَنة والمساواة وقبول الاختلاف والعدالة الاجتماعية. يطمح المركز أن يكون مختبراً وطنياً ومجتمعياً وفكرياً وثقافياً خلّاقاً لاحتضان الحرّيّات، كلّ الحرّيّات، وتعيين معانيها، وبلورة مفاهيمها ودلالاتها، وترسيخ أخلاقيّاتها ومعاييرها، وتوسيع فضاءاتها في الحياة اللبنانيّة الفرديّة والعامّة، في سبيل تعزيز الديمقراطية وحقوق الإنسان.

يعمل المركز على مدار الساعة لمعالجة البنية التحتية وراء فساد لبنان وطبقات الظلم والتمييز. من خلال مجموعات القوة ، نعمل على حماية الحريات وتعزيزها والتمسك بالمعايير الدولية لحقوق الإنسان. نحن نستثمر أيضًا في توسيع مساحة الحوار في الحياة العامة والخاصة اللبنانية.
